the stuff of wonder

I was just perusing my last few posts and have realised that my tone is decidedly old womanish and grumpy. So in the interests of balance, I thought I’d share a TED talk that touched my heart this week.

What’s fabulous about this is not just that Eric Whitacre has produced a breathtaking piece of musical art, but that that he took a completely fresh idea and created something that no one has ever done before. It’s completely original and completely wonderful.
